POLL: Do you sleep with the blinds open or closed?
Comments (19)unless I can live where people can't see into my room (Ok I do have a pretty voile but I have very nosey neighbours - and noisy - so the blind comes down, the voile is there and then there is a double thickness with blackout and heat/cool lining curtains! Possibly over the top - or not... I get migraines which means total darkness and silence for at least 10 hours - impossible to do with just the blinds or voile!...See MoreDo you have a sofa from loaf? What do you think?
Comments (1)I have a large crumpet sofa and it is the most comfortable sofa I have set on. Unless you get tall legs, the sofas are very low to the ground which my mother hates but was not an issue for me until I got pregnant. I love the sofa....See MoreWhat do you think should go in this space?
Comments (5)Hi! FIrstly - i LOVE the colour of that chimney breast wall!! I think you could be right on looking for an accent chair under there, or potentially a leaning thin mirror? With an antique brass sort of framing to it, to tie in a couple of the accessories I can see in the room already! A mirror would also reflect the colour of the bedding/statement wall, so help to carry the colour over to that side of the room as well! Then my suggestion would be to look under more 'dining' style accent chairs (Made.com do some bright velvet styles with arms etc) that could tuck into your dressing table area! I run an interior design service, and we can work remotely, and do packages for little projects like this, where there is just a small change around and a few new pieces of furniture and accessories, but we would be able to source the items for you, and also draw up a 3d image of how this could look for you, before you make any purchases/decisions! Get in touch via my page on here, or my website www.hawthorninteriordesign.com, if this is something you might be interested in! Comments (4)What did you end up doing Debbie? Any photos to share? We’re currently building a new home which is broken plan in style and I’m trying to figure out how to have a co-ordinated but separate look across the different areas. I love those deep F&B blues and soft greens, but not sure how to incorporate both… TIA...See MoreGolden Needle Drapery
