Kitche/dining Reno - help needed with door colours

We are planning a renovation, removing a wall and creating an open plan kitchen/dining room. The new galley style kitchen is planned to have Charcoal (Dulux Ticking), and light grey (Delux Dieskau Half strength) cabinetry on window side, Light textured engineered stone (smart stone - imperial Grande) on benches and splashback, with lower timber (brush box Matt) bench coming off the island, with white walls. We also are installing spotted gum Matt finished floors.
I want the room to feel light and calm, and welcoming, with the feature being the darker cabinetry.
We are installing new sliding doors and window, and am tossing up Aluminium Pearl White, or a contrast colour in the Monument
Sorry, no photos. I will try and upload some, but any advice in the mean time would be greatly appreciated.

My personal opinion, and what I've done in my home, is to use the same white for all the trim. The exception might be in a kitchen, living and dining room that has a more traditional feel and is already stained. If you are going with white ceilings, then in my opinion it looks best if they are uniform to start with. You can change that out room by room later if you want.

I'm not an expert but think you can create the illusion of a bigger window. Add a radiator cover, accessorise with a tall object/s and add full length curtains (make sure there's enough room for them to drape properly either side of the radiator as can't really tell from pic). In terms of colour, go for a cool colour to make the room seem bigger (shades of green, grey, blue, purple). A pendant light over the table would also look great.

Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Thoughts please

Hi. I agree with jacksplash and Man About the House - hopefully OnePlan will find you, because I'm worried about your layout. Some of the figures are difficult for me to read on your floor plan but I'm thinking about all the doors and where they lead and the traffic flow of people. Is there room to get around things, especially, say if the fridge door is open? Can someone get by or do they walk in front of the oven? If someone's cooking, is there room? If someone is at the sink, can another person walk by? If people are sitting at the new rectangular dining table, can you get passed to that side door, the double doors, or the door to the stairs? With the big fridge in that spot I'd do a practice and erect cardboard boxes that equal the depth of the fridge and more that represent the island and see if there really is room for it all.
