bed and bunk

Can you tell me the bed and bunks size and the room size I am building a cottage and y bedroom ins 12 x 11 . I need to make the most of the space for guests -couple with 2 children . If this would fit it would be great option . please let me know thanks

Hi Diane,

In this 15x24 room there are two built-in twin bunk beds on either side and a queen bed in the middle. You could squeeze a queen and twin bunks in your 12x11 room, but it would extremely tight with a scant 2 feet separating them. If your still in the design phase you may rethink the room size to fit your needs. I hope this helps!

Hi. Could you put them in a U shape (one long against each far wall and then the other at 90 degrees to those two)? Or better yet, bunk beds that are built into the wall or on a very solid frame, like one of these?

Brilliant for space saving and we've seen so many fantastic styles appearing lately - much less traditional and a lot more fun for kids. You can always make each bed the individual childs own taste through bedding choices, popping things on the walls and cushions & throws.

Hi, thanks for these prompts. For the colour scheme, I was thinking about dusty pink, white and maybe another colour. The room is for one six year old child and because If the size of the room, I am now thinking about making it into her main bedroom. So, in terms of furniture, there would be a bed/bunk bed, a large dolls house, an Ikea play kitchen, a wardrobe and set of drawers and a small sofa if possible. there would also need to be some enclosed toy storage (for books and to hide all of the plastic toys!), but I’m not sure what this would be at this stage. I am definitely looking to replace the curtains. The previous owners had a brand new carpet put in before selling. it is really good quality, but it is unfortunately an uninspiring beige colour. I thought this wouldn’t clash too badly in the medium term until we replace all of the floors at some point. I’m not sure if I can fit all of this furniture in the room without it looking a bit disjointed.
