I am having White under counter basin . I want basin counter , floor and shower bench to be of same colour marble but different colour from my beige Parleto wall. Please suggest colour . Do you mean White Carara Italian marble ? What is Ceasarstone Eggshell ? I have put my wall marble tiles in horizontal pattern . There will be no wooden cabinets in the bath. Hi, do you have photos of the space? Is it a light or a dark room? I would personally choose a white or light grey quartz or something like Silestone. Maybe a marble vein in it, like Calacatta Gold. You need to get some samples to see the colours in situ. But if it is a very light filled room, you could also go for a darker granite or quartz.

The cardboard backing is a balancer. It’s a necessary requirement to keep the worktop level to prevent wharping. Out of interest was it from Howdens as they’re well known for cardboard backing while other major suppliers offer a different material which is better.

sorry, I thought the pale colour was the counter you were looking at. so that's the cabinet door colour? hold it vertically when comparing to floor, and have the floor and countertop on the horizontal. the paler countertop is definitely a green-gray and works nicely with the paler green-undertone greige cabinets. I think colour-wise they work together - and I prefer the lighter one than the black one, especially if in a dark kitchen - you could go lighter too if you wanted to lighten it up further, but don't have to. with a countertop with such a lot of movement, I'd suggest a very simple subway tile for backsplash (I know you're not asking!) to keep it from getting overly complicated looking. if your kitchen is open to any other rooms, also just check that any undertones in there work too eg. if it was open to a dining/living area with a stone fireplace for example, or if you have a neutral coloured sofa or upholstery/fabrics.
