Natural versus artificial lighting - which would you choose?
Comments (3)No choice: Natural light every time. Sunlight is essential for maintaining a healthy body and the production of vitamin D to prevent rickets. Its also worth noting that there are issues regarding environments where there is only artificial light (often found in long term living in bunkers or submarines) where the bodies circadian rhythm goes haywire (it can be mitigated with simulated nighttime lighting etc but it's not great)...See MoreWhich style of glass would you choose for your ideal staircase?

Comments (15)Hi Huw, Polyflor are a top UK (Manchester) manufacturer. The 0.55mm wear layer gives it a heavy commercial rating. You'll get tired of it's looks way before it wears out… true story! Not sure about the origins of Luvanto. QA have sourced it from the manufacturer and put their own label on it. QA are a flooring distributor. Doubt you'll be able to buy directly from them and most likely will have to buy through a third party. We'd recommend you approaching both Polyflor and QA, asking for the technical data sheets for these products, saying you specifically want to know what the UV rating is for these products and are they guaranteed not to fade? You can buy Polyflor Expona Commercial on our site by clicking here. Would this herringbone be of interest to you, Huw? We'd recommend not taking Jonathan's acrylic high gloss floor polish suggestion.
