Would you turn your existing shower into a steam shower?
Comments (2)Emmeline, it will depend on whether your shower unit is already fully enclosed. If it is then, including the installation of steam and purchase of steam generator, you would be looking at around £3500. If it isn't then one would have to pay for the shower unit to be enclosed properly as well....See MoreWhat practical feature/item do you secretly crave for your house?
Comments (98)Lights which automatically turn on when I enter a room (especially in the kitchen and in the hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom) and lights inside my wardrobes (especially inside the one in the bedroom: I often get up earlier than my hubby, and it may be still dark outside, and I don't want to wake him up while I'm looking for my stockings)....See MoreIf you could only save one item in your home, what would it be?
Comments (26)What a terrible question to have to consider- How could you ever choose??? Many say family photos - but you know what - if I lost mine it wouldn't matter too much because I can remember my life in pictures - I was there. I suppose it would have to be my first guitar I used professionally - a 1950/early 60s (?) Hofner Congress. Here - have a laugh, this is me in about 1978: The guitar lasted better than I did !...See MoreDo you have rules for keeping your home clean?
Comments (28)The 'sock fairy' does her rounds when the children are in bed, and quietly puts them in the washing machine. The same for the dishes in the dishwasher. Then, the timers kick in at wake up time. It is lovely to think that the machines are doing all the work and I haven't even got up yet! Beds made and we're off to do life! No time for cleaning. We hire the person who does the floors windows and the boring stuff, and I make a point of inviting someone once a month when the whole family pitches in and we all go mad and make the house extra beautiful with flowers and such. We're all pretty neat and clean up and tidy as we go, so we don't really live in mess- but I'm not a slave to the Neatnik....See MoreUser
