what is the lovely gravel and flagstones you use? Looks stunning.

I am wondering whether this is gravel or some kind of weed free? bonded surface? What flagstones/if any have you paired with this?

This is Breedon Gravel, which is loose laid and rolled in to form a compact surface. We used reclaimed york stone flags in the garden and metal or oak edging in different areas.

In regards to the radiator, you have a great eye and we can certainly see how a dark grey radiator could work in this space. However, in this particular case the customer specifically requested the classic white radiator look. You may prefer something slightly different but imagine how boring the world would be if everyone had the same taste!

Hi Sven. They look nice in glossy photos but they always seem to be taken when the lawn has just been laid:-). In reality I personally think grass between paving is a pain! I have inherited some round stepping stones leading to the old shed and whilst I can run the mower over them keeping the edges neat can take ages. Unless you’re very fastidious with a lawn edge trimmer I wouldn’t bother. There are alternatives tho, plants that don’t need mowing such as Irish moss, chamomile, thyme, sedum etc. a few can deal with heavy foot traffic as well.
