Can the glass cover (diffuser) be replaced

The inside coating is peeling off of the glass cover (diffuser). Need to replace.
Pleas advise how this can be done.

Hiya, As others have mentioned, a blind or shutter which covers the bottom of the window only, leaving the stained glass to make its own statement could be a really great choice. Lots of people like to put shutters at a bay window as they make a feature of the different facets, and cafe style sit halfway up, allowing you privacy but not covering up your lovely stained glass. We also do something called Trilite Top-Down Bottom-Up Pleated blinds, where tabs mean you can position your blinds anywhere in the window, and even pull them up from the bottom (not just down, as with traditional Pleated blinds). I've attached a picture to show you a little better how these work. It is hard to tell from the pictures whether your window frames are Wooden or uPVC, but in the case of the latter, blinds in PerfectFit frames can also be fitted. This is where they simply clip into your window frame, so each blind perfectly fits the window. You could cover the bottom windows, and leave the stained glass ones undressed and beautiful in their own right. 1930's Fireplaces- Keep or replace

Those fireplaces are some of the nicest examples I've ever seen! I think it would be such a shame to take them out. In the 50s people were scrapping old Victorian cast iron fireplaces because they looked dated and look how tastes have changed. Art Deco is just starting to become the new thing again. If you really hate them, you will sell those without a problem.. I fitted an old stove into mine and I'm happy with the result.

I used Sharpes and they were brilliant. My brother used them and he recommended them. The fitter was so skilful, a proper carpenter. There was a problem with one door (a half door over the stair box) and he got straight onto the office and arranged for a replacement. Nothing was too much trouble. You can have whatever configuration you want - rails, shelves, shoe racks. Some of the fancier things like drawers and jewellery drawers are pricey but you can always adapt it to suit you. I don’t like my furniture too matchy matchy so the bedside tables and chest of drawers were from The Cotswold Co, but of course what you choose is up to you. Do you like a modern or traditional style? I would love a dressing table but I don’t have the room, sadly. Here’s a pic of some of wardrobes and chest of drawers.

Depending on the condition of the window, you may be able to just change just the glass so it is double glazed. The process to do this is called bi-glass. Bi-glass is cheaper than replacing the windows and can provide all the benefits of double glazing while retaining the charm of your existing windows.
