So since I posted about 6 weeks ago we now have a lovely wooden floor, fire has been removed and left chimney breast with cables available so we can mount the TV. Have our old sofas sat side by side under the window but still not sure how to plan it all out. Hopefully once painted and we start visiting some furniture shops the rest will just fall into place :) thanks all for comments, would welcome any ideas

Hi Greg, amazing job! Everything looks fab. I was wondering, did you consider pros/cons of waterproof blinds in the shower area? Like you we are nearing completion of our renovation and one of our windows is in the shower. We have opaque glass but not sure if we should have blinds too. Thanks!

I'm a fan of herringbone design so I'd say it was def worth the extra work. Looks like a really good job too. I do wonder, however if the small recesses would have been better with a different tile (e.g. a bronze or vintage mirrored mosaic) to break things up a bit . Also not sure what the large plaster square is for, or is that still to be tiled? Looking forward to seeing the finished room. .

My favourites are: A semi-closed off shower and loo. I have a similar layout at home, though still completely different. When entering the space, you'll mainly see bath and sink. Or this one, which sprouted from the very first idea to place shower and bath in the same line. With two sinks your radiator should be hung elsewhere, inbetween windows made sense for heating reasons, but perhaps not the best spot aesthetically. (And I've moved the door to create a good spot for a tall storage unit.) So I've looked up some radiators that would be just fine next to the bath or inbetween sink and loo:
