To get in the festive spirit, the team in the workshop have voted on our favourite shots of Bath at Christmas and came up with over 15! Too many to choose from. Can't decide which one's my favourite, what about you?

I loved all the suggestions but can I be party pooper and say no to the BBQ. The smell of burning fat is quite anti social. The neighbours are enjoying their glass of subtle rose, while peeling plump prawns and the smell comes over the boundary, ugh! Cook in and take outside. BBQ belongs where everybody is doing the same thing or miles away from anybody. How do vegetarians cope with the meat aromas? I know I am not alone in this really, but difficult to say out loud given the onslaught of BBQ info. Bon appetite.

Hello Mellow duck, For me it's the "idea" (rather than the consumption) of winter puddings... spotted dick, jam roly poly, syrup sponge, apple crumble... and lashings of creme anglais..... Hurrah! : ) )

I voted for the parquet flooring. We have a small hall with one that we have tried to renovate that is quite dark. I was impressed with the various colours they were able to show, quite beautiful especially the lighter coloured greyish overtones on one particular photo.

What's your favourite life stage?

I'd say working life/family. I had a great 14 years of (single) working life before marrying, I was making money so I travelled and partied and made some great memories. I now have step kids but never - at any stage - wanted any of my own. I find the 'kid' stage of family boring and draining personally (and I do actually love my step kids) but I do love being married and having a partner to plan and look forward to the future with. Retirement feels like the last stage so I'm holding off saying that's the goal! I want to enjoy MY life more once the kids are grown.... Less than 10 years to go! Lol
