Although I liked the decor in my master bedroom before https://www.houzz.co.uk/projects/1472227/the-eclectic-cottage-bedroom I felt it was a little bland and could be bolder. Its taken me years to persuade my other half to try darker wall colours but this time he just trusted my judgement and let me go for it https://www.houzz.co.uk/projects/1472227/the-eclectic-cottage-bedroom. Would love to know what you think - do you prefer before or after?

Comments (2)Here's an image I found for you. Think that it looks beautiful with white and mustard accents. I'd probably go for a slightly softer white. It also depends on how light and bright the room is to start with. And it's just paint. If you hate it, you can always paint over it. Don't know where you're planning to use the wallpaper, but I quite like the idea of wallpapering the wall opposite the bed instead of the headboard wall. Comments (9)Good question S L, it is hard to take a good picture of white wooden shutters as an amateur photographer, but hopefully you can pick up the detail in these 2 photographs of the other side of the room. We used The Cambridge Shutter Company for the warm white traditional shutters. Rebecca, the owner, is so helpful and knowledgable.
