ideas for kitchen wall and splashback?
Comments (12)Maybe others will have ideas but you seem a bit limited in what you can do or to me anyway assuming you chose the glass lid for safety. I'd paint the walls in a washable, moisture resistant paint (I might look at little Greene ). If you still want a splashblack of sorts you could just paint in a splashblack which could look quite effective or maybe use a metallic leaf or the microcement/polished plaster could work, I'm just not sure how thick it is but I believe it's extremely thin (I will see if I can find a pic if you like that idea). You could always add shelves over the sink...See MoreAdvice on kitchen worktops/splashbacks needed please

If you've already got a quote, we will make it much cheaper (Everything in-price). Have a nice day, Erwin (Sunstudio)...See Morehow do you clean your quartz worktops?
Comments (3)I use ecover multiaction spray once a week on mine and it’s fine, have been using it for about 2 years. The rest of the week I just use Ecloth dishcloths with water only. If it gets stained which is rare (wet teabags and curry can be problematic) I spray dettol surface cleaner on the stain leave for a few minutes then rub away. I’ve had white quartz worktops for 12 years now and not had any issue with damage/staining. They are pretty robust, I’m not careful with mine at all!...See MoreKitchen splashbacks
Comments (5)The units above your sink and your hob will nicely frame slabs of granite/ matching countertop material. I would go with that instead of mirror. Although it won’t reflect light like mirror, it provides a more restful look in a busy kitchen. I’ve had success temporarily “trying out” backsplash ideas using removable peel and stick wallpaper, similar to how you might try out paint using tester pots. Here is one in a marble look https://www.wallpops.co.uk/collections/home-nuwallpaper/products/carrara-marble-grey-peel-and-stick-wallpaper You can probably also find something similar in a mirror finish....See MoreEllie
