We are about to embark on an amazing extension to our house, adding nearly 100 square metres. The house is like a tardis - it opens up and widens significantly at the back, but from the front looks like a small council house.
We are limited to what we can do on the front as we are in a small close with another 10 houses that are the same, it's a unique little cul-de-sac and we can't really change the character dramatically by rendering for example.
We've now also got a dropped kerb so the front will also be a driveway, probably using bonded resin.
How can we improve the curb appeal of the house? Thinking about fencing, windows, porch, possibly shutters? Any ideas welcome.
