Hi Heidi - Apologies for the tardiness. The flooring is 24"x48" Porcelain from Decorative Materials: http://www.decorativematerials.com/

The white oak is a custom grey brushed stain. Thanks! -Lynne

Hi Cake lady thanks for your comment. I have considered the wood effect tiles. However the kitchen adjoins a hall which has an oak laminate floor. I'm concerned the two different types of wood will clash. what do you think? Good to know they're low maintenance. I'm steering well away from gloss tiles as spent years trying to keep black gloss tiles clean in our bathroom. Finally replaced last year !

I always like white units and wood, so great that the floor is wood so you could add more wood with shelving and chopping boards. Pic below. Or a mid grey can look nice like the second pic which is Dulux Chic Shadow.
