hi there, the colour is called eclipse NCS S 8000-N, and it is a great accent colour indeed

In terms of design, you have some great ideas in your Ideabook particularly the living ones by Boscolo Design. I would personally go for similar sofas in a light colour with black piping for a subtler Art Deco feel. If not maybe a plain sofa with a couple of velvet occasional club chairs. Maybe up the art deco look by adding a mirrored console table, Laura Ashley have a couple suitable. You could also add geometric or a subtle animal print for fabrics. I'd add a big hollywood style mirror for a glamorous look. You obviously favour the monochrome look so go for off whites or very pale grey on the walls. Maybe some pale curtains with a black trim. Are you putting in new flooring in the lounge? If so would parquet be in budget or try karndean parquet? If not, maybe add a subtle geometric rug. I like One Plans idea re the mirror in the kitchen and very in keeping with the style. You seem to know exactly what look you're trying to achieve so are just after actual shopping suggestions?

I think the Graphite splashback will co-ordinate nicely with the island; my only worry, personally would be everything being white And grey as it could look cold...But this is your space and it should be how you like it as you will be spending times... As you prefer a minimalist look, I'd say large format tiles to minimise the number of grout lines. This could be in a light grey or a slightly darker grey shown in your image. To add more interest to gloss cabinets I would consider white-wash/light grey wood effect tiles...This will help add texture and slight warmth to the room. All the best.

As Sonia's said it also often hard to tell colours from photos and light (aspect) and things around it distort colours. From your other posts I notice the paint colours you have tested are from Laura Ashley? If so I think you (or mum) is limiting your choices as they only have a very few colours. I do like the look of the sable colour and looks like it might team well with the red but I fear this may be too dull for your taste. You could try Dulux timeless as it’s a pale neutral and good all rounder, then re evaluate when the kitchen is finished. Another option is to take one the cream doors to a decorating centre and see if they can match the door colour but take it a couple of shades lighter.
