Design Dilemma Storage Kids' Rooms

What shall I do with this space??

Hi
I was wondering... we have this space in the loft this is the slope which is created from below -the ceiling above the stairs as you are coming up)
This part of the room is part of a loft conversion and will be used by 2 teenage girls. Ideally we would like a desk fitted in this space for both to use as well as storage/bookcase/cabinet .. how can I utilise the space above the slope?? I would have loved to have had a small fish tank somewhere there too.... but never seen one on a slope!
any pictures and ideas will be really appreciated.

Well on the left slope, you could use the inside space as a storage, and the right side as a built in desk with shelves on top?

You could may be also have a bed above (for the friends?) with a ladder going up and a desk below?

An L-shaped desk to curve around the bottom of the slope would work nicely with shelves on top, a foldable desk might save space as well...

I clicked on this because in the picture, with the lighting, it looked like they were painted magenta and orange and I actually thought they looked stunning! You could play with depth by creating an ombre effect so the nearest one to the entrance is a dark shade and the furthest one is a light shade, with the others graduating between them. It would make the room look bigger I think.

Hi! Like Copper Dust suggested. Artwork or a great wall clock would look great. My friends have done this in their own home on an empty kitchen wall. Now that I've seen it, I'm thinking about doing it too! Here's an idea of what it will look like. (Without the wood base I think is better, but I couldn't find a good picture for it) Hope this helps!

It could work well. I meant to say I'd just consider the size of the room and height of the ceiling. If the room was small for instance with very high ceilings and you painted the walls a really dark colour you could end up with something cupboard like. Dulux, crown etc have paint visualiser apps which could help.

Hi there - these geometric shapes are great and highly on trend, it would be great to make them into a feature and can be easily done quite cheaply!

Firstly its tricky to see how much space there is in the little nook to determine if a desk and chair will fit. It might better to have a little seat or built in seating in the nook, with shelving above.

On the triangle wall sticking out you can add the desk and chair with ample space to move around. Now for the fun bit for the upside triangle hitting the ceiling, where it sticks out slightly, stick a funky frog tape to make it stand out - as per the picture. I draws your eye up and would look great!

I think I would build a wrap around desk at desk height at the bottom part of the stairs coming out around the angle of the stairs not only would this provide a desk but also a dressing table for both daughters to use together, obviously if size dictates there will be enough space. at the back of the desk area would be a good position for the fish tank and bookcases.

following up the slope you already have the ceiling spots in place so I would use this to put in some glass shelving so the light travels through, this would not need to be the full depth of the stairs.

Maybe to break up the angle of the stairs a bit you could introduces some wrap around shelving following the slope up, there are some pictures of wrap around shelves on Houzz you could look up to see what I mean.

There is quite a lot that could be done with this space when you start thinking about it : )

Install a vertical 2”x10” at the bottom of the slope, the run shelves from the slope to the vertical.
