What is the Kelvin rating of these bulbs?

The previous answer was not Kelvin. I am looking for a soft white glow of between 2700 and 3000 Kelvin. What are these bulbs?

I have specified LED lighting into a number of kitchens and have never had an issue of blue lighting. As Oneplan says the important number to look at is the Kelvin temperature as this specifies the colour of the light. I would suggest looking at slightly more expensive LED down lights as these will have good colour consistency which is also important. I have specified down lights by ecoLED called Zep1 in a number of clients rooms and have been very impressed by the colour of the light. They produce these in both Warm White and Extra Warm White. I used the extra warm white Zep 1 in my own kitchen / diner which has lots of reds in it as, like you, I was concerned there should be no blue tinge to the light, which really would not work with all the reds in the scheme. I am extremely happy with them, and with the lower bills! An important point to note is that the Zep 1 LED light cannot be changed - the whole fitting will need to be changed when they eventually fail - but this should not be for a long time. One final note of caution with LED down lights is that although they can be used with dimmers, only certain types of dimmer switch will work, so make sure you get the correct recommendation from the supplier. Hi Charlie, The Orluna LEDs vary in cost depending upon the style and the dimming method used. The Curve fitting starts with a retail price of £55.14 +VAT with a non-dimming driver. The fitting with a mains dimming driver retails for£65.14+VAT. Depending upon the lighting layout, you will normally need less Orluna fittings than other brands as the beam angles go up to 60 degrees so there is a greater spread of light around the room. Hi Anne, from the photos you've provided it seems that lights in the kitchen (and I mean bulbs) produce blue, cold light (6000 Kelvin or so) while your main chandelier gives warm light (I'll say 2700 Kelvin). I would start with changing spotlight bulbs from cold (6000) to warm (2700) and see how this will work. Are you looking to give the kitchen a warmer feel in terms of colours or are you looking to give it more warmth in the sense of even more homely feel? How would you feel about adding a blackboard of sort for noting stuff with a matching red frame on the side of the fridge to help carry the colour from splashback to the sofa and curtains? If the colour scheme is to be grey and red I would utilise the space above sockets (where you charge your iPad) with a quirky picture frame or perhaps a spice rack. I would also add a clock on the wall above the wine rack.

For me it does!! I have changed all light bulbs in the house to LEDs. I tend to purchase appliances and electrical items that have the best energy ratings.
