Boring white bedroom
Comments (8)You have a great room! I personally wouldn't stain the floor darker - it looks lovely as it is. I would though go to a local glazier and cost to have a mirror wall behind the bed. I would then match two bedside cabinets (closed so bit and bobs can't be seen,) I'd change the light fitting for something more suitable for a bedroom - at the moment it reminds me of what would be in a kitchen or a teenagers bedroom - a trendy light fitting from Habitat or even B&Q would look awesome (or even just a white plastic flex with a trendy shade.) As for the ceiling fan maybe replace it with something more modern. Here are some ideas https://www.allmodern.com. If you like light grey it would work well for the walls and you can add colour through the bedspread & cushions. I would also remove your belongings from around the room and store them in a narrow cabinet/wardrobe behind the bedroom door. And as you have a super cute dog I would look for a pug cushion or lamp as a tongue in cheek homage. See this link for pug cushions: https://www.etsy.com/uk/search?q=pug+cushion&locationQuery=2635167 If you don't fancy a mirror wall maybe have a huge bright yellow frame against a grey wall and a photo of your pug inside and maybe a union jack cushion....See MoreBoring white bedroom
Comments (9)Hello Chris, I don't think the room is boring at all ... The doggy is lovely isn't he! There's some really nice elements here. I wouldn't change what you have done apart from the little tables by the bed and then just add a bit to the rooms scheme.... So what about adding two wall lights... Then you can give the bed a bit more space.. You could add a little wall shelf for the book or water.. It then free's up the space around the bed.. Then add lovely textures like wool blankets or throws.. Two nice cushions like bolsters in ticking fabric to define the space there at the head of the bed and it keeps to a charming room that it is.... There are lots of creative ways to add functional aspects which compliment the aesthetic of the room beautifully... such as these lights which are a beautiful bulb wrapped around a wooden bracket.. Maybe some more old framed pics and I think it's gr8! A little wooden shelf with some lovely french metal brackets to compliment. : ))...See Morewhat colour would you add to a white and blush pink bedroom

Comments (4)French decor is very gentle with taupe, cream and white and green. Walls could be painted Skimming Stone, or if you want a deeper shade try Elephants Breath, although in low light it can look a little brown. The F & B greens like Cromarty and French Grey look good too. Here’s some ideas...See MoreJuliet Docherty
