Bland kitchen?
Comments (42)Gone through all the comments thanks and some definite themes. Will definitely de-clutter workshops where I can and put some plants in. Will clear top of the fridge too. Like the idea of painting the whole room red - it's a lot of wall as big area so worry it will look too dark. Will try out some tester samples. Saw the attached and that looked good I personally love an olive green but just doesn't match accessories and costly to buy them all again. All our dinner set is also red too so hard to get away from! Will also look into large artwork as I know it needs that - just finding the right piece!...See MoreI have gone with white Matt kitchen units, gray work tops, gray tiles
Comments (6)Hi Tracey,I have to agree with Carolina, marble effect backsplash and mustard for accessories or bar stools! We have a wide backsplash selection in our showroom, including Dekton, Silestone, Cosentino (and more). If you'd like, come and check out the samples before you make your decision. We are based in SW London. Good luck!...See MoreRoom looking too grey?
Comments (90)I personally prefer that light and table option, the light adds a lot of warmth with the table and I prefer the design which sits well with the art although both are lovely. Have you looked at the mad men rug in concrete jungle (which has brown tones on my screen!)? The hydrangea might also be nice in blush? There are lots of brass ornaments around ATM for the table or bookcase too...See MoreHelp - cold grey kitchen in north facing room
Comments (24)Hello, it’s funny but warm cream shades fell out of favour when grey seemed to take over the world of decor for many years. I like a warm, buttery cream but I struggled to find images of it used with grey kitchen units. I managed to find this pic of a grey DeVol kitchen and cream walls. Love the way it’s teamed with wooden shelves. As to paint shades, I’ve used Dulux Ivory and Dulux Elderflower Tea in the past, as well as Almond White. Lovely warm neutrals. i also wondered whether changing the cupboard doors to something more to your taste may improve things? There are lots of companies that do this, and I noticed even B&Q sell just doors too. Just a suggestion....See MoreJuliet Docherty
