Bathroom - separate shower and bath?
Comments (18)Hi, I'd definitely keep your feature bath. This can be painted in a nice Fired Earth Eggshell finish. I can't comment on your basin or wc, as I can't see them and have no idea what condition they are in? I'd tile the floor, shower areas and window reveals. I'd suggest upstands (skirting tiles) around the rest of the bathroom, then you can add some nice colour to your bathroom your painted bath will be a lovely feature. Have a look at some of my photosets which may give you some inspiration. Having said all this, I think your budget is unrealistic. The most important component in your new bathroom is the person who undertakes the work and this will cost you money. Good luck with your project. Comments (0)Many of our customers have the same dilemma... how to visualise the space once completed. With our customer Claire we worked for weeks on designs and layouts for the new kitchen/dining room space until we had it right. We planned on knocking down a few walls and opening and brightening the space whilst adding a gorgeous bespoke kitchen across the center connecting the areas and creating a true heart to what will become a beautiful home. The build is currently still going but we wanted to show you a few before's, the finished renders.. and then let you watch the space come together as we do! Enjoy. This is the property when Claire purchased - it was tired, dark and dated. The L shaped room with current door and window positions made it difficult to fit what the client needed in the space and didn't take adventure of the garden and fantastic views. After weeks of planning and looking at different options the design was agreed and the final 3D images were created to show the client exactly how the space would look - leaving her confident in her decisions on everything from layout to colour. Now the fun could begin! The beautiful new stone floor was laid and instantly gave depth with texture and a brighter more modern feel. New windows and bi-fold doors were added to add light and take advantage of the beautiful views and back garden space. A new door with glass pane leading to the pantry and laundry rooms will add more light from the new windows here too. And then the kitchen arrived really bringing the space to life. We will keep you up to date with the room as it slowly comes to life but please feel free to check out our profile page and see how 3D's can help save hundreds or thousands on your home renovations by allowing you to really visualise the space. Thank you....See More3d design /shot
Comments (2)I think you need a designer or concept planner. I suspect there are limitation of how they can respond on a public thread to avoid criticism of advertising. So you should email them directly to ask for their terms of business. Comments (17)You are all amazing! This is really helping our thinking process. We have considered banquette seating and certainly a bench, at times we might need to squash family around the table. Thinking extra storage underneath it. The peninsula isn't feeling so bad, Minnie the pictures are great. Like the shelving in the corner and can still have a run of tall cupboards. Manabout, wondering if the island is going to look too big in the center. Feel a bit scared a repeating my friend's mistake! The room that is going to be the kitchen has to have walls removed to make one room but i can plot this out in the first floor living room, newspaper on the floor, just to try it out. Worrying a little about the table position, how that would feel if it isn't centered on the doors. I am quite 'symmetrical' and 'matchy matchy' when I organize and plan. Finding the new eclectic styling (which I do love) a bit of a struggle! Consensus is definitely the 'kitchen' in that end of the room, rather than the bigger space currently planned for dining?...See MoreTani H-S
