I was just researching the idea of a wool entry mat/bath mat and came across this article: https://alyshaan.com/why-wool-area-rugs-are-best-for-kitchens-and-bathrooms/ I would think wool would be ideal for a wet area, as it not only absorbs moisture but it allows it to evaporate, unlike cotton which simply holds onto it. That's why a lot of high-quality outdoor clothing and hiking socks are made of wool. Plus I'd rather use something made of a natural fiber than go the synthetic/polypropylene route and buy something that will just go to a landfill once it falls apart or starts looking nasty.

Hi Pannacotta, I think the etsy one may be unique rug store, they overdye vintage rugs. I really like the rug from westelm, will it be too modern though if you didn't like the JL striped one? What do you think of their Cadiz one? I can't decide if I like it! Can't find the same rug available here but there's some similar colour/sizes ones available on overstock. I would try https://www.modern-rugs.co.uk/ who do a large range of rugs at large or custom sizes. The blinds are beautiful, I would definitely pick a colour from there. I would start with this as it's the biggest expense. Once you have this can then determine which colours would work best for the cushions. You may find it needs balancing with other colours or that it introduces another colour you want to add in the cushions.
