Mixing metals in the kitchen

I have an open floor plan with chrome light fixtures. My kitchen has a brushed nickel faucet. I’m thinking of getting stainless steel appliances. Can I use chrome cabinet pulls? Thank you!

Of course! We are big fans of mixing metals. especially polished white metals because they mirror everything and thus go with everything!

Hello I am fully renovating my tiny 1 bed flat. It's in a period building and I want it to look modern, but not too modern!... All the tapware is chrome (so silver in colour) and I need to now choose what colour the - door handles - hinges and - ironmongery on period sash windows should be.... Can I mix brass and chrome together? Or should I get chrome for everything?....I am worried that chrome will be too modern and I would like to bring in some gold/brass elements like metal plant pots or light fittings etc... Which shades do you like the most in the links below?!

The floor in the hall is engineered oak , the stairs will have anew carpet which i haven't yet chosen. I was thinking of a either a grey or a striped carpet with blues and greys if I can find one I like and can afford. The appliances are also likely to be in stainless steel finish, would that count? I've already bought light fittings and they are not brass, they're glass with a black cord. The room will have a built in seating area and also has a music area with a piano and speakers etc, so the habfles will be continued down to that area which should help. I was going to have a black wall light above the piano, perhaps I could incorporate brass there. I did have my heart set on a particular one. Would a brass framed mirror help? I am going to have a mirror on a chimney breast between the kitchen and dining areas. Do you think that should be the silver finish or brass finish?

I also don’t think this works in my opinion the gloss finish and the handleless door doesn’t fit with the traditional shaker door. Consider something that ties the two parts together- I think this could be to have your traditional blue kitchen island and then the wall side have flat fronted matt white cabinets with handles that match the island. Alternatively consider a contemporary take on the shaker door and have the same door (in different colours) for the whole room. Some German manufacturers such as Leicht do a contemporary shaker. There are also traditional inframe kitchens that you might consider- The Modern Classic from Mereway has no panel but is still traditional because it is in frame
