Wall colours - all one colour?
Comments (6)Hi Jo. The light will differ in each room so would go for different shades according to the light in each room. Maybe also consider darker accent ŵalls for alcoves and in the dining room? You could even do the woodwork and coving a shade or 2 darker than the walls. I'd go for a soft chalky white on the ceiling. Have a look at farrow and ball for matching colours or little Greenes shades come in light, mid and dark...See MoreColour Suggestions for Walls in Rented Flat
Comments (3)Here are some colour ideas that i feel that will go well with your ideas Kitchen area: Paint Guide: Dulux :grey steel 3 or 4 Farrow & Ball :Lamp room grey Pavilion grey if you do decide on any of the F&B range of colour make sure you the get the right base coat paint for the right colour, it brings out the right tone in the colour you want Tile help: Bright purple or mustard/gold splash back instead of getting tiles splash backs in kitchens areas does make the kitchen look very modern easy to maintain, very hygienic and they do come in different colours to go with the decor and could work out to be cheaper then getting tiles Living room: Paint guide: Blue : F&B :Blue grey FLAT MATT ( this colour looks more blue then grey) Dulux: liberty blue 6 (can look good with grey floor) Stone : F&B: Skimming stone Elephants breath...See MoreAny ideas/suggestions on what colour I should paint my kitchen
Comments (11)We also have a north east facing kitchen, we used farrow and balls, Purbeck stone on our wall of units at the back of the kitchen (its warmer than using grey which can look cold in a north facing room), pelt on our peninsula and dimity on the walls, it give off pink hues during the day and is (nice) sort of creamy beige in the evening / on dull days. We took samples of our flooring and work top to a F&B shop/consultant and they were really helpful in confirming that the colours we wanted would work in our N/E facing room. I was pretty fixed on the the purbeck stone and pelt and it was they that suggested using dimity on the walls. Also as already suggested, tester pots and paint on large pieces of paper that you can move around the room is a good idea....See MoreWC and bathroom wall colour or wallpaper suggestions?
Comments (4)Your new bathroom looks lovely! Great job! What if you opt for a dark shade of green or blue with grey undertones, to give it that muted effect but it still has some colour and warmth to it. And then for the cloakroom a vibrant wallpaper in the same colour tones but with a big pattern? Good luck! Send us the end result!...See MoreMarina Drobot at Cinnamon Space
