L Shape hallway help

Hello,
My hallway is never clutter free and I'm struggling to find something that'll look nice but also be practical enough to store coats, gloves, slippers, etc
I'm limited with the space infront of the radiator because the toilet door opens onto that space and in the second picture is the bottom of the stairs so I also can't have anything sticking out too much.
I thought about getting something for the space at the window to the side of the door but I feel this also limits the space available to enter and exit the house.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I feel I'm probably missing something really obvious!
