That's not a lot of info to go with, but lets see... do you know what style of decor you generally prefer? do you like wood? if you like this kind of look, you could have white walls and black cabinets. or you could go for white cabinets and grey walls. now for colour: any dramatic and bold colour for either cabinets or walls, and white for the other. Comments (1)I think the problem is that your cabinets and refrigerator at very dark and heavy and your walls and splashback are very white. The refrigerator matches the work surface, so that is fine. Assuming you cannot lighten/change the cabinets I would make the walls and splashback darker. Smoked grey mirror is popular and affordable in a small space such as this and could give you a very nice finish, not to mention make the space feel larger. Comments (9)I'm not doing walls until kitchen in. also waiting a while to replace our table with a slightly bigger one. I've always wanted a decent table. only 3 of us so maybe will use end of it for serving up. in the pics the island looks clear and usable. the reality is it gets covered with all sorts. Im thinking of a mobile unit as could put it against chimney breast some of time. It's a developing idea. I'm reluctant to finalise until we live with the kitchen for a while. so much to think about and I'm an over thinker!...See More

5 years agoYou have a gorgeous kitchen that looks lovely in my eyes, but I understand as we all like a change every now and then. A lot of F&B black colours are more deep blue than black and may not tie in well with your range? Have you looked at Pitch Black or Paen Black? They look a bit more neutral. Going more to the green side, how about Green Smoke? Here’s some samples

5 years agolast modified: 5 years agoGreen Smoke is lovely isn’t it? I would leave the top cabinets off white, but I found this guide from F&B to help you see what would go, but I think any of their warmer whites would be good. The bottom pic has the top cabinets in Mizzle and the island is Green Smoke, but that room looks very bright. Get some matchpots before you make a decision.

5 years agoI am a bit nervous about going so dark ! I thought that if I went light on the top cabinets and very light on the walls it could work? I’m really keen to have a dramatic kitchen as the rest of my house is very neutral. The hall leading to the kitchen is really light so I thought I would embrace the poor natural light of the kitchen and do something opposing. If you understand my meaning!
