Victorian tiled floor - please help me choose a nice wall colour
Comments (5)Hi there! I like the tiles! May be your temptation to paint the whole place white is a good idea. I think Vanilla White from Dulux will look nice and bright up the space. Your can use cobalt carpet for staircase and you have plenty of possibilities to be original with art or pictures and accessories....See MoreWhat shade of grey carpet
Comments (0)Wondering if anyone who has had a grey carpet can advise please? We have grey aluminium windows, oak doors, white skirting. It is a fairly large lounge, 24x14' with patio windows as well as another smaller window, so plenty of light. Some of the carpet samples I've brought home look a "dirty" grey, others have tinges of pink or blue when closely inspected! I thought something in a soft but solid grey. Any ideas please?...See MoreFinding the right shade of grey
Comments (13)Oh it looked slightly different, it must be the light. I'm actually liking that and I've just realised I had that in my old house with the paper in my hall! (I think I have too many paint colours in my head or that's my excuse anyway!). I thought it had a slight blue tone from memory? Which way does the room face and how much light does it get? I'd also try testers in different parts of the room if you have any large pieces of paper to paint?...See Morelooking for a nice shade of curtain
Comments (4)I’m looking at getting a blind from there at the mo - I can recommend their free sample service - they deliver really quickly! I’m also looking at greys and it’s definitely better to see them in the flesh....See MoreUser
