This is my kitchen wall need some design ideas
Comments (7)Not sure if you're wanting to keep it white but if so some ideas for inspiration. It's hard to suggest artwork for someone else but a gallery wall might be nice or trying oversize wall clocks, chalk boards etc....See MoreFrench buffet, to paint or not to paint?
Comments (9)I would normally paint this but I kind of like the wood too. However it looks to me like it originally had doors as the inside doesn't look the same quality as the outside meaning it wasn't meant to be seen. For this reason I would either paint the inside or move the current shelf down to create a bottom shelf the same height as the bottom lip of the opening- then perhaps add a reduced depth middle shelf....See MoreBedroom Wall Panel Design
Comments (32)Thank you plusmarcus. So my thought about the side panels was how do you decide where the bedsides go? Do they sit in the middle of the side panels or do they sit so that the two beads line up with the middle of the bedsides? If you put the bedside in the middle of the side panel they are too far from the bed. And if you put them so the beads are in the middle of bedside they are too close? With the original "B" photo I wondered how the proportions would work with bedsides. Would bigger bedsides in the same style as the bed work better? Sorry might just be my OCD, but where you have them now, for me, throws off the original proportions....See MoreDesign ideas for feature/TV/fireplace wall
Comments (4)Hello there! We at ALNBM Ltd recently completed a project that might resonate with your vision. For a client seeking a minimalist look, we designed a feature wall with an integrated pocket for the TV. To add to the clean aesthetic and meet your desire to hide the TV when not in use, you can incorporated a sliding down panel that seamlessly blends with the wall. Below, we installed a fireplace, which could easily be adapted to a wood burner or fireplace in your case. Considering your Japandi style preference, this solution offers simplicity and functionality, maintaining clean lines and an uncluttered feel. The sliding panel could be designed in a light wood color to match your flooring, creating a harmonious and balanced look. Integrated shelving could also be added, but kept minimal to align with your vision. The position of your sliding patio door and glass door leading to the snug room should work well with this concept, allowing for a cohesive flow within the space. See the attached photos below.
