Design ideas for feature/TV/fireplace wall

Can someone help with with some good design ideas for the open plan end of the room TV (maybe fireplace or wood burner) wall?
I am after minimalist look. Ideally some ideas to hide the TV when not in use. We haven’t decided yet if we are having a wood burner or fireplace. Could be some integrated shelving but not too many. Something Japandi style.
Floor will be light wood colour, there is sliding patio door do the garden on the left and sliding glass door on the right leading to snug room.

I would consider building some sort of low wall or polished concrete shelf to sit the log buner on. Here are some ideas. If the shelf/wall is low and the width of the wall it will create the right proportion for a Japandi feel. You could then stand large items on it and hang the TV low to create a mellow vibe.

I think the problem is the top line of the lamps and TV are all practically the same height which makes it look harsh and boxy. I'd try something much taller one side of the TV ie an onion light or tall vase with some modern floral/stick arrangement that could drape outwards slightly across the top of the TV, thereby softening and filling the void above it, then something much lower the other side. The lamps you have could hopefully be used elsewhere as they are lovely. Just a thought...

Yes, “The Frame“ has only just been launched in the UK! I believe that TV cosmetics will improve over the next two years. With the thin frames and improved lightness of the latest TV‘s, there is greater ease of fitting custom frames around them. Many TV manufacturers are now also offering beautiful screensavers and if not, it‘s easy to add an AppleTV or another Streaming device to display images on the screen. The icing on the cake is a mirror TV and over the past three years we have perfected the process of bonding a special mirror glass directly onto the leading brands of TV‘s at about 60% of the cost of dedicated MirrorTVs. The advantage of this approach is that we can use the most current and advanced model of TV‘s, whilst the dedicated MirrorTV typically lags behind, using year old+ models.

I agree with E D, I’d move the unit over a little so it’s not overlapping the architrave which may give you room for a lamp. Personally I’d have a little gap between the tv and unit. I’ve just added anything but some colour in the art would draw your eye. i added a darker paint colour to disguise the tv but I think you’d need to do the door too. I’m not sure art is needed but have included it

I’ve seen your first image a few times, I really like it although would arrange seating around the fire and hang the tv lower and go dark behind that with a lighter tone for the fire

I like colourhappy’s polished concrete idea. This is tadelakt on the bench but I might include on the chimney breast

PS love the light in the 2nd pic, weirdly was looking for that this week!
