Feature wallpaper but what curtains?
Comments (5)I quite like both of above ideas - perhaps combined. - Eg. textured gold velvet. Another option could be a nice airy neutral like ivory. If you want to cool the palette a little - depends on which wall colour you go for of course. If you go with a texture or pattern go with a smaller scale than the wallpaper pattern scale, Something gentle and subtle. If you go more neutral the ivory or cream might be nice with some texture. Just be aware darker the material on the window (rather than lighter colour) will take light from room. Good luck....See MoreTeal Walls - Combinations for Sofa and Wallpaper
Comments (3)Minnie and Grouse suggest sofas maybe in a corner sofa left side on top photo in a light grey chenile fabric with cushions in different shades of teal and navy perhaps and different textures would not use a busy pattern as floor has a patterned fnish or keep it simple the odd cushion. The curtains in a natural grey linen full length with roman blinds in darker shade of grey. Perhaps a grey rug too. A floor standing light in far left corner behind a corner sofa unit would give you a different light source and be great at night for more ambience. A very large mirror on left wall would make the room feel twice as big and add more light. A must is side tables either side of sofa end for coffees and drinks. Good luck!...See MoreWallpaper for feature wall?
Comments (19)I'd agree that the whole wall may be too much. Either paper the alcoves or just the chimney breast. Comments (8)Woodchip is a nightmare to make look nice. You could either emulsion over it or perhaps ask the landlord if he would have it replastered even if it’s just in the lounge? The reason why they’ve put woodchip there in the first place would be because the walls are bad and have tried to hide it...See Morerinked
