putting a toilet downstairs
Comments (1)You can put a WC anywhere as long as you have nearby water. Ideally the soil pipe or the underground sewer will also be near but you can get around that with a macerator (Saniflo)....See MoreDownstairs guest toilet
Comments (18)Jonathan - that is exactly one option we're considering. The only 'downside' is that it breaks up the flow of open space between the front of the house and the kitchen and back. I'll post more sketches tomorrow. To be honest all the options I'm lookin at have a downside I'm not wanting to compromise on. I realise now we always have to compromise on something. It's just a question of what I'm willing it give on. Thank you for replying. Please share your thoughts after I've posted more drawings....See Moredownstairs loo location advice please.
Comments (1)Hello Wumi, you probably need to identify where the drainage is first. The small room at the front on the right seems the best place. If the drainage is not nearby, you could install a Saniflo. Hope that helps....See MoreInspiration please! Downstairs toilet
Comments (27)Hi Minnie thanks for your advice & lovely comments. I had that thought about putting it on the shelf but worried that the water splash’s might ruin the shelf. I opted for wall mounting it in the end. Hope it looks okay, I’m pleased with it & the wall colour definitely lifts the room. Happy bank holiday weekend!...See MoreWumi Sal
