Hi Susan, I'm afraid I can't help you with that. I'm just the photographer and this was shot a while ago. I would imagine it is a Farrow and Ball colour though.

I would paint all the walls a soft buttery yellow - Restoration Hardware's Butter would be perfect. New window covering in the alcove could be a roman-style roll-up blind (you can find good inexpensive ones at K-Mart) that would pick up the tones from the wood floors and shutters. Art with red, gray and yellow matting hung in a grouping over the fireplace would add a classy touch. Your current furniture needs to be re-arranged in an attractive, more intimate way. Turn red rug the long way in front of fireplace and place couches across from each other on either side of the rug. Store some of the red striped cushions. Attractive but too many. - sorry to use your space Lucy but can't find a way to "im" Elizabeth re her question. @Elizabeth, in this photo, I hand traced the wall area with the polygon lasso tool, placed that on another layer, selected a color and filled with the bucket; then with the mask still selected, I tuned the color in via the adust menu for hue and saturation. Its funny but I am liking the darker shades more and more. Always used to go for pastels but my tastes are evolving! The matchcards in your earlier pic, on the table, seem to be much lighter than the later pic with the fabric, not sure why. The middle colour, Paradise Found, seems to match the flower in the fabric very well so it would work. But I must be honest I love the two greeny blues more. They are very similar to Inchyra Blue by F&B. Would you go all over? I think with white shutters and white woodwork it would look stunning. Here’s a pic of Inchyra Blue so you can see how similar it is, but a little darker?

I think you can use a deep colour. The trick is adding pictures and a mirror to break it up and make it feel dressed
