Need help for my bathroom
Comments (4)Hi - I don't know if you've decided on your mosaic tiles but I'd be delighted to help you with them. We have a Custom Blender online design tool where you can select from a palette of mosaic tiles and create your own bespoke tile blend which is then handmade in Scotland. We offer border layouts in both 10mm and 20mm tiles. Our production process makes the blends easy to install. If you want to have a look, here is the link for the blender. http://mosaicshack.com/custom-blender/...See MoreBathroom redesign
Comments (34)Hahahaha Joanna! Honestly me and hubby have also invested emotion into this. Seems like we are in the same boat, rewire/ installing gas, putting in central heating, all the works basically! I would love to know how it all comes along for you. I wish we could do house tours on houzz for the amateurs like me! Whilst the amazing houses from interior designers and architects are so inspirational, not everyone like me can afford their expertise for first timers and would amazing to see what other first timers have done. Comments (11)It's a good idea to keep both the shower and the bath, like Jonathan already mentioned, there's plenty of space. This is just a quick sketch for one possible layout, that could work with minimal renovation works. We always suggest our clients to leave to toilet where it is, because it's usually a hassle to move it around. So we would install a shower like you had in mind, along the back wall. And then rip out the existing shower and cupboard and fit a freestanding bath instead. The washbasin would stay where it is. And there is probably space for a tall towel heater on the right hand side from the door. If you decide to go ahead with the house, give us a call and we can arrange a free consultation visit, where you'll meet one of our designer expert who will take measurements of the bathroom, evaluate the condition of the bathroom and come up with a great personalised design/quote that works for you. We can also supply the tiles and sanitary ware and get our team of builders to start working on your project from start to finish, so you don't have to worry about anything. https://www.designangels.co.uk/start-renovation Good luck with everything!...See MoreBathroom Design Dilemma!
Comments (3)That's one photo gone right :) Curious to see the rest (and the exact measurements). Using the original tile might be dificult as you've removed a wall. I'd also suggest insulating the exterior wall and windows, as it will pay itself back in the future. With special bubble foil and cement board it will not take up too much space (and the exterior wall can still breathe). A bath on the attic floor sounds like a bad idea, or an expensive on at the least. Our little boy preferred showers since the age of two, so don't base your decision on kids. They love those little plastic baths too. (Loads of dutch households don't have a bath.) Cisterns are great for modern bathrooms (but when they fail, it's quite a hassle), so the question is are you creating a somewhat 1920s bathroom or a modern style?...See Moredesavelli
