has anyone seen any lights like these for sale anywhere???

Hi there! We bought these lovely hand blown amber glass lights a few years ago for our dining room. We moved 2
years ago & are just redecorating, ready to rehang them but one now doesnt work. The shop closed years ago so i’m stuck. Has anyone seen anything like this & if so, where? Thankyou!!

They look very unique. have you thought of taking them to an electrician to see if they can repair them?

Honestly, £1,000 isn't that bad for the laborious and hideous work they have to do, but get a couple of quotes. I wouldn't do the stairs - sandblasting is too strong for them anyway and I think you can still see the nice wood grain in them. Perhaps you can put a runner up them. Do the ceiling beams, the lintel over the fireplace and all the dark beams imbedded in the wall. I can't really see the church seat, the seat in the fireplace or the doors, but the door in the Somerset Cottage photo with the carpet you like looks good, doesn't it? Show me more photos of the church seat and the seat in the fireplace, but you could paint the church seat the same colour as the walls, or the same as the trim in eggshell or a slightly darker shade of the wall paint..... That would lighten it up. I still don't know what your style is! Do any of these appeal? We can find the actual products once you give an indication of what you like! This is simple. You either get a bifold window or you get a bifold door with an addition glazed barrier. The door would be my preferred option as you don’t have any framing at eye level when sat down, you can have a frameless glass balustrade inside or outside depending on if you have space in the room to accommodate inward folding doors, personally I prefer the door to be on the inside as I think it makes opening and cleaning easier.

This is just my opinion about porcelain, some people don’t have the same opinion. The non slip factor is fabulous and you can walk barefoot on it in the rain and it’s steady underfloot. It is only the difficulty of cleaning R13 porcelain that is annoying. A lower grade like R11 is easier to clean. I’ve bought a jet washer so we shall see how that goes.
