Do you get multiple legs for the one order or do you have to order multiple?

I don't think £9k is a small amount, but then having done many a kitchen as a property developer, we're used to shopping around. I'd buy Wickes ( January sale ), the cabinets are very well made and have a very good guarantee on them. The doors too. They have a good range with the exception possibly of the worktops. Personally I find, having tried probably all trade kitchens, magnet, howdens, ( get a trade kitchen fitter to cost it if you find one you like - they get huge discounts -seriously, up to 70-80% ), B&Q also have trade cards and there's always Homebase etc - The kitchens are lovely and I think there's just a load of snobbery around 'where you bought the kitchen from'. Get savvy and buy Trade! The worktops i'd to an independent. ( only if you can't find one in one of the above ) - otherwise you have the layout for two lots of labour. You don't need flashy Taps ( Taps are minefield ), Use the internet if you're budgeting! I wouldn't buy an American Fridge Freezer, if my daughter's is anything to go by then it's an oversized, unused food store! All it seems to do for her is encourage to buy more as it looks empty and then doesn't get used! Integrate.................better for the visuals especially in a small kitchen. If you want free standing, then buy a normal sized Fridge Freezer The last one we did, even Wickes could not beat the price of the appliances compared to Curry's. So shop online for those too and look for discount codes.

The legs are not just tubes, but incorporate mounting plates at the top for two screws, corresponding to the underside of the cabinet ...If I chop the existing legs I will have just created two pieces of square tubing...There's be no way to suitably secure these to the cabinet.. Though ideally something like this would have been the answer....

Does wood on chair legs have to match to table?

It can look really good as long as the tone of wood is the same. For example if the table is a grey stain timber and the legs were a warm yellow tone it doesn't match so well, but is they are both in a grey tone it looks really beautiful. Here are some image examples

Hello Ivan, As you can see from the sheet Sonia added - it would be more like £300-£500K for a 4-5 bedroom home, you also need to bear in mind that this google link she has may not be up to date as all prices across the board have gone up dramatically in the last year (and still going up), ut also depends on the quality of finishes and materials etc, the construction of the home and so on. The location you have mentioned also means this may be a little higher as in and around London usually demands slightly higher costs for both labour and materials. As Phill mentions above, you will need to look at methods of funding if you are wanting something like this, and you will need to have full designs and specs drawn up already for this. You could do these yourself, or pay someone like an architect or interior designer (depending on how much you want to pay), to do some initial plans which will allow you to get some pricing together and look at feasibility.
