Colour scheme ideas for my bedroom

I‘m after some ideas for possible wall colour and Roman blind options for my bedroom please.

Sounds odd but it needs to work with a key picture and 2 duvet colour schemes I have already. Carpet is Neutral as are walls at moment.

As the duvets are so colourful, perhaps choose a pale grey similar to the one in the colourful duvet, maybe Dulux Goose Down, and a Roman blind in a plain fabric a few shades darker. Although I do rather like colourful blinds so a shade within the duvet covers would look great.

So I have taken the step and finally chosen the feature wallpaper! Laura Ashley Cottonwood natural leaf: http://www.lauraashley.com/invt/3486836. The flower in it is lavender/purple, the background an iridescent pearly beige, and the tree trunks a natural matt stone. I love it! Wardrobes are being fitted this week, and my husband wants them painted white (will be satin probably). So I'm now planning the other two walls and the small chimney breast (which will sit between the wardrobes). I have the following paints in mind (unfortunately the Little Green paints are so gorgeous but out of my budget) : 1) For the main two walls and possibly the chimney breast LA Linen: http://www.lauraashley.com/uk/paints/water-based-paint-linen/invt/linenpa (although reading the reviews of laura ashley paint - I may actually just go for a dulux similar colour) 2) or just paint the walls a similar natural colour and have a muted heather/purple (not too dark) colour paint for the chimney breast (opposite the wallpaper). Hi Sonia. Do you have existing furniture to work around or are you buying new? If you go for the neutrals I think you just need to add lots of different textures to add the warmth. If in budget I'd go for a wood floor as that will add warmth immediately but if not add at least one piece of furniture, antique or antique looking might look good. Some gold accents will also add warmth such as mirror, light fitting, picture frame etc. table lamps also give the cosy feel and would add faux stems or flowers and if you have the room a chair. If you want to use the blue perhaps consider using with pale stone'ish coloured walls but adding a blue chair, cushions and perhaps in a curtain pattern but again with some gold, wood etc. You could also add a feature wallpaper such as grasscloth or faux wood panelling etc

Farrow & Ball Elephant's Breath seems to be a popular choice. And you can easily warm up the room by adding soft furnishings and accessories in warmer shades. Grey and copper and rose gold mixes really nicely creating a cosy feel. I love dark muted colours, so if it was my room I’d be painting it that beautiful dark green. I’d also be painting the whole room as I don’t get using paint to create afeature wall. Floor length curtains in blush/dusky pink. Velvet if you can. I’d then accessorise with the pink and lighter green. Love all those colours. We’re in the process of painting our lounge a dark green (F&B duck green) and it already looks cosy and luxurious

What do you think of green? I've only 'painted' the bottom part, but would probably paint the part above the picture rail green too.
