Colour for chimney breast
Comments (4)Hi Michelle, Your space looks fantastic; I love the colour scheme you have gone for! Orange is a great accent colour, and a burnt orange shade would look lovely, such as Dulux Nigerian Sands 4. This will work alongside the pavilion grey and the railings colour which you currently have beautifully. Another idea would be to paint your woodwork in Dulux Pure Brilliant White, which will add that extra bit of light to the space, and will look amazing against the grey wall too. http://bit.ly/2fb99EG http://bit.ly/2g4SYbp Good luck with it all and please let me know how you get on! Comments (41)I found the Dulux Visualator, or whatever it’s called, to be pretty useless. I used it once to visualise my old sitting room colour just to see how accurate it was. My walls were Dulux Elderflower so compared it on the Dulux online thingy and it was completely different!...See MoreTo paint just Chimney Breast or alcoves as well
Comments (2)Lovely cottage. Cottages tend to have low light levels so I personally would not go for Inchyra Blue, gorgeous as it is. Go for a more gentle colour like Cromarty, Borrowed Light or Pale Powder. They will sit well with the grey sofa, but keeps the room bright and clean....See MoreChimney breast design, paint full wall or alcoves
