Decorating and colouring a student's room (rental)
Comments (1)Hello, I may be a little bias because my favorite colour is green..but I do think that green would look really nice :) For the study area, I have a photo below for you to use as a guide. For the TV section I would suggest you put a painting relating to music or something like what I have below as well. Overall I really love your tiny home :) It is simple and neat and pretty. There isn't much I would change besides the study area and the TV area. Hope I helped Best wishes xoxo...See MoreLiving room so small ugly rental carpet any help
Comments (2)Hi. I must admit the carpet looks fine in the photo but if it's grotty I would just get one rug. I'd go for something in a beigey colour as white will make the space feel smaller. Can you move the sofa away from the curtains just even a couple of inches? The throw is lovely but perhaps try it folded over the arm? I might also add a couple of lighter cushions, either something with the moss green or the bronze that's in the cushion. I'd also accessorise the coffee table ( include flowers or a plant for some greenery) and add art or a mirror over the sofa if allowed. Do you have a photo of the existing light?...See MoreLiving Room Furniture Dilemma & Decor
Comments (8)I think I prefer the Ikea sofa as the Next one looks a little bulky for the room, washable covers also sound good. I do prefer the Ikea sofa I added but yours should work too, they're identical except for the arms. I also think they work well with the chairs, a different style is good. Just personal opinion but again for me if you're going industrial I would go for a wood floor and it adds so much warmth to a room, LVT may be a softer option? (Last try I promise!). Not sure if you like any of this? I didn't find cushions to match just in case you hate this one and it takes a while looking! It's impossible to choose art for somebody but you may like these. Junique and desenio are also good for affordable prints. Neon signs are also a good way to personalise a room if that's your thing i would add lots of texture for accessories, I think you need to get the furniture agreed first though. I would go for a light neutral for the walls. Need to know which way the room faces and you could work with any undertone in the navy paint...See Moredecorating dilemma any ideas thanks
Comments (11)Hi - not sure if this would be your sort of thing or whether it would match 'mood' in rest of kitchen but you could consider painting that whole wall behind the fridge and up to the edge of the dado rail with blackboard paint. We have this behind our bin and it's very useful for making a note of what you've just run out of and hiding splashes from the bin. It would look quite dramatic and be very distinct end to the kitchen. Not sure if that's what you want? To do ours we actually just used a sticky back roll of blackboard paper. It's been great and hasn't marked the wall so you could try it out as an experiment before committing to paint! Good luck....See MoreK
