Ceramic backsplash in the bathroom

I'd like to put a ceramic backsplash on my bathroom wall, between the sink and the bottom of the mirror.

I already have two different type of ceramic in my bathroom and I'd like to get something that will look good with these.

What would you suggest?

Maybe some of the mosaic tile used in the shower ? But what might have looked better would have been to have the mirrors going up from behind the taps, all the way up the wall, with no gap at the top, it would give a more finished and luxurious feel. I do understand that the mirrors you already have will probably have to stay now, which is why I have also suggested the mosaic tile.

I would chat with my tiler and see if he could cut up some of the shower tiles, into 4 or 6 pieces. Then have them put up, play with a linear and brick layout of the new smaller tiles and see what works. It's not a large area so introducing a new tile would potentially look like an afterthought.

Such a pity... your splashback is beautiful, but it looks out of place at the moment. There are a couple of things you could do: - cover the rest of the wall in a back-painted glass that matches the background colour (milky white?) of your splashback (similar to pic below) - you could have it on the left hand side wall (the one with microwave+oven) if you can give up the plugs there, re-sized, obviously; choose something else for the rest of the kitchen. - re-size and place it vertically in front of the hob. - use it somewhere else (bathroom?) and consider new splashback for kitchen. Ceramic or porcelain tile will do very well. Laminate can "puff and die" inside of 6 months! I've seen it. It isn't pretty. The closest you will get to "click together" flooring = 100% vinyl flooring. The vinyl is water proof...the joint is not. There is still a chance that moisture (water or humidity) will reach the subfloor and begin to rot it out from underneath the floor. Be safe = ceramic or porcelain tile properly installed. I think you can work with a cooler tone in the bathroom. One of the design benefits with bathrooms is they can have their own "presence" in a home. They do not need to be identical to the rest of the home. They can carry the theme...but they are allowed their own flare. Go with something that is visually interesting. It can be a breath of fresh air if the rest of the home "all one look".

Hello, Here are the following options you may go with: Metro Tile Ceramic Tile Stone Tile Ceramic Tile Glass Tile Stone Slab Mosaic Tile Porcelain Tile Metal Tile Matchstick Tile Mirror Cement Tile Terracotta Tile If you don't like tiles you can pick glass panels, mirror would look nice too or cement tile for a rough finish. It also depends what look would you like to achieve. I quite like the glass panel as you can get them in so many colours and they give a glossy finish to your kitchen. I love mosaic tiles and I have them as a backsplash behind my bathroom sink. I agree getting more of the ones in the shower to create a backsplash would look cohesive and are very pretty too,

I think the best finish will be achieved by repeating the finish under the basins.
Be aware that putting anything behind the basins will make it tighter to clean and a solution might be to step forward the basins or even the whole top
