Painting uPVC window frames
Comments (77)@Tani H-S Most professionals that refurbish uPVC windows will spray. You need the right equipment, you must prepare the surfaces properly before applying and most importantly you need the right paint (that properly bonds to the surface, has UV protection and thermal movement elasticity). If you don't use a professional and you have problems, you can always get a quote for new windows from YES Glazing Solutions - our windows are available in over 200 RAL colours! https://www.yesglazingsolutions.co.uk...See MoreGrey UPVC or White UPVC Windows?
Comments (17)Thanks Daisy I am swaying more towards grey. Yes that's very true as we're one of the only houses with the original 80s windows still, so people won't pay out just for a different colour if there windows are still okay. We really love grey, I am just worried it'll look out of place or not as good as I'd be hoping. I may have found the solution... I've been googling today & noticed slim profile UPVC windows exist (Aluminium is out of our budget). As one thing that put me off UPVC grey Windows was that the frame seams more obvious than white somehow & I don't like the thick, chunky frame of some UPVC Windows so that maybe an option. Thanks again!...See MoreAluminium or UPVC windows

I think consistency is a key part of design, and I have not regretted my choice. I am too much of a stickler for detail not to become increasingly annoyed at the difference....See MorePebbledash and upvc window painting
Comments (15)You have a substantial period property 1920s? which looks of its time. I would be very reluctant to try and modernise its appearance. How will it look in a few years time? Think 1930s houses with updated 60s fireplaces and 1980s houses with mock Victorian fire surrounds....See Morelspendl 828
