Can you tell me what the measurements are of this bench? What bracket did you use?

Hello sweetenilorac1964 , the bench is about 15" deep by 30" wide. The brackets were custom made steel L brackets that are mounted to the stud walls before the walls were tiled. We used 2 brackets. I hope that helps.

As you can see it's a work in progress ^_^* On the left part there is a shoe closet with a mirrored door. What I have in mind is something like this in the attached picture but for a seat, not a table. As you can see, the top part can serve as a place to leave keys, post, etc. and the whole thing would rest on the floor so the "seat mechanism" would be in the middle-upper part and when opened, the weight would be distributed among the legs of the chair and the main part so no need for heavy bolting. Although I don't have a problem with that either if there would be a flip-up seat with no floor support integrated in the "closet" part. And by the way this thing is precisely 15cm deep so it would totally fit in my plans :-) Anybody any idea? Have a great day!

No worry re pics! Option 2. You would effectively want to walk into a wall from the lounge which you may not like. If you finished the utility in line with the shower would that be too small? I think you'd only have about 4ft on the external wall though and the external door wouldn't be in the utility. Maybe a pocket door on the shower to allow a unit or 2 on the bottom wall? I don't think there is enough room between the loo and shower though. The room is only about 4ft wide and the loo will project a fair bit. Option 1 could work with the shower door opening into the hall but I wouldn't want to walk into the utility straight from the lounge so would make the room smaller. I would maybe think about moving the door from the utility out into the garden too. I'd draw everything exactly to scale though with bathroom fittings and utility cabinets etc so you can see exactly what space there is. Do you not like the idea of a combined utility? Will you use it for hanging up washing and ironing etc or just washing and tumble drying?

Hi, In regards to lighting ideas how about a bathroom chandelier? Our Vara chandeliers are dimmable with appropriate bulbs and a dimmer switch, allowing you to change the level of ambience in the room. They are available in different sizes and you can even choose coloured crystals instead of the clear ones if you'd like. There's also matching wall lights to finish the look. Full range can be seen here. Or what about an extractor light to ensure your bathroom is feeling fresh and bright? These are great for getting rid of moisture and stale air.
