Skylight / no Skylight and position?

hi all,

having trouble deciding whether to have a skylight or not and where to even put it on a current extension going up.

its north facing and i've put a LOT of glass in it already, but was contemplating putting a rooflight above and between the island and kitchen run?

what are your thoughts / opinions


i should note that the skylight on the roof also dictates where we can walk / sit up above on the roof balcony!
