The island could be farrow and ball drawing room blue or it could even be railings, it can show as quite blue depending on the light in the room. The cabinets look like blackened or dimpse. Or on my screen anyway :)

Hi Maria. I don't think you have to stick to cream, you could look at neutrals such as greige, clay etc. A pale olive or sage would also look nice. If you got the right shade a pale blue would also work or you could consider deeper colours with light wall units. What colours do you like as it may be best to start from there and advise which way the room faces? I think a shaker door would work well with what you have
