Harvey Jones Kitchens

Just do not buy Harvey Jones kitchen as they are the most ordinary kitchen as per our experience and not sure how they are calming premium kitchens. There are so many fundamental design and solution issues like freestanding appliances units just disaster, bin unit under the sink is completely lost even after so many requirement/design discussions, glass dresser unit doors are something trial and error and a complete mess after multiple attempts to rectify, kitchen is not an operational kitchen, quality of the finishes are not up to the mark and the customer handling even from the top management is highly disappointing. Our kitchen project is now 11 weeks delayed from the actual completion date and our life is utter hell. We made a big investment for our kitchen project and full payment is made in advance. A portion of our payment is not yet refunded and our kitchen investment is at a high risk. I have never seen such irresponsible and reckless people who are representing HJ including very top management. Before investing into the HJ kitchen project you should think twice and do not pay full in advance.

The Harvey Jones Team designed, built and installed a very beautiful and high quality kitchen. We were so impressed with the professionalism and great service from start to finish - they always went the extra mile! Our designer, Emma, gave great advice and was very happy to change the design as often as needed until we felt it was right. The technical surveyors, fitters, Jen, our Project Associate, and the painter who were all involved at later stages were just as great - focussing on the smallest detail and striving for perfection. The quality of the kitchen is incredible and it is now our favourite room in the house :-) We can strongly recommend the team! Thank you, Jen, for all your help!

Working with Matt Baker from Harvey Jones, Chislehurst showroom was a an absolute pleasure! The Kitchen design was collaborative process with Myself as the Interior Designer, A passionate client with specific requirements and Matt who proved to be a fantastic listener whilst also bringing invaluable input, expertise and creativity throughout the design process. Matt showed great enthusiasm, patience and skill hence I would happily recommend him and hope to work together again in the future…

We had a shocking experience with Harvey Jones Hampstead. Our kitchen turns out to be largely made of MDF or atleast the supporting plinths are (despite being promised hard wood). Consequently we have got a lot of cracking at the bottom or our units. It looks as if it has been in for 15 years. HJ also painted the units in non oil based paint so we have lots of water damage from regular use. Furthermore we now have a giant crack in our worktop. There was never any 'how to look after your kitchen leaflet or brochure' at the outset. We have had multiple visits from HJ and have tried to call on the guarantee that is absolutely worthless as they have disputed everything. Wouldn't be so upset if we hadn't been charged a premium price. This is a very, very, poor quality kitchen. Please avoid this manufacturer at all costs if you want a premium kitchen.

I'm at the start of the project but already I know I'm in safe hands with Rodger and Katie who have helped me design a fantastic kitchen to suit my small terrace house. I'm excited and can't wait for the work to begin.

They did a wonderful job on my new kitchen. I could not be happier with the result. Definitely recommend.

We love our new Harvey Jones kitchen. The entire experience working with Rodger and the team at the Cambridge shop was great. Rodger was really patient helping us find a solution that worked with our budget and perfecting the design. The kitchen (currently in the final stages of being fitted) is absolutely stunning, we are in love with it already!

I had approached Harvey Jones after already contacting 3 other kitchen suppliers, which I felt were either not treating me like a serious client, wanted to side line me into having what they wanted me to have or as I have just a small kitchen wanted my business but i was ok as a filler when nothing else was happening. I set the designer a few targets one of which was a compartment for my dogs. I did say no way did I want an extractor fan which he did not put in but eventually I realised I was wrong and visually the kitchen required it much to the designers relief I think! On the sign off day I reiterated my targets to the designer and all of them were met and my kitchen offers so much more it’s unbelievable what has been achieved a small kitchen has been turned into a wonderful working area, I cook and bake a lot spending a lot of time in my kitchen and now I can enjoy the time there so much more. It may not be applicable to anyone else reading this, but my husband works away and was absent for two months over the whole time of the first day the builders came in until the whole project was complete. We had due to Covid some delays in some appliances being delivered, but these were managed and I felt for the Harvey Jones team who were extremely distressed at this happening. I digress from the point I wanted to make in that I was on my own not sharing each stage of the build with anyone, but I felt the designer, the fitter, even the painter treated the project personally and were there for me. On a final point many people, my builder, electrician etc could not understand why I went down this route but ALL of them after seeing the product have been converted and can see why I made the choice to give the work to Harvey Jones.

Harvey Jones have been really excellent through all parts of our kitchen process. We were I think a pretty complicated customer as we wanted to re-use and repaint some of our (HJ) kitchen but adding about the same again as we were doing a complete renovation and kitchen extension; covid meant our builder was behind schedule; we suddenly decided we needed to change the layout and of course deciding on the paint colour is always a problem. But Rodger at HJ could not have been more kind and patient, he made lots of sensible suggestions that improved the design and resolved all queries, kept us on track through all our logistical issues, and helped us stay focused on the goal of the kitchen even as the (non-Harvey Jones) builders slipped further behind schedule! He really kept the process stress free and we are so grateful. We now have a lovely fitted kitchen which is new plus re-using some of our old furniture just as a real wood kitchen should be, and we are so happy with! Thank you very much and we would not hesitate to recommend Harvey Jones and Rodger especially in the future, they were not kidding about making it showroom quality. Thanks again Rodger!
