NEED HELP DESIGNING AND CHOOSING FLOOR PLAN!!
Comments (4)Hi Caren. It depends how many people will live in that house and their lifestyle. Me personal opinion is the more open space in the house the better. I would recommend to visualise all those three options in 3d rendering. I could help you with that. Comments (6)Swap lounge with kitchen dining room. take out the wall dividing the K/D. Add an alternative exit in south wall by the stairs. Take down conservatory and extend across. Assume you can build over garage + alternative 1st floor remodelling + loft extension. Moss Extend t. 02072349350 e. info@moss-architecture.com...See Moreawkward shaped floor plan/layout help

It would require more internal modification to move a wall which you may not consider worth it but I wondered whether the utility would be better as a longer and narrower room to incorporate outdoor access (for laundry, muddy feet / boot room, etc) rather than having outdoor access from the study with the wasted ‘corridor’ past the bathroom. This would also make a wider second living space which could have double doors to link it to the lounge so that you could open it up for larger family occasions or close it off for smaller events / everyday....See MoreSarah U-S
