What colour windows should I have ?

Recently moved into this house and need to update the front. First step is windows and then the whole front needs to be updated. Not sure i can afford to have to Tudor boards removed but would like to make it look more modern.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Comments (8)Hi, As already suggested, full length curtains would be lovely and add to the romantic feel you're already creating with that lovely bedding. You could choose a combination of voile curtains and fully lined blackout ones to give you a flexible approach to light and privacy control. I've attached a picture of how they look layered. Comments (9)I agree with Graham. You wouldn't believe the difference that reinstating the original windows will have. If the building is Victorian it will have been designed with traditional casement or sash windows. You can now get timber windows with double glazed units so they look traditional but have the thermal and acoustic qualities of a modern window.
