Re-organising our master suite.

Which professional do we need to help us re-arrange the rooms in our master suite to make them more usable. We are not sure whether we need an Interior Designer. Architect or someone else. It could involve moving the bathroom or at the very least re-modelling it but we do not have a massive budget so not sure if any professionals would be interested in helping us.

Maybe I should mention that we are in Norfolk UK.

I am confused are you looking to loose a bedroom to gain an ensuite? Assuming you are going to turn the bedroom in to the main bathroom I would keep all the walls in the same place but build a big cupboard in your new bathroom as overspill storage to the storage you have in your bedroom. Consider putting your washing machine in a cupboard in this bathroom to free up room in your kitchen.

Hi. I quite like the first option as it gives you more storage. I would however consider not having a full height wall behind the bed to give the feeling of space and also using mirrors to make it feel larger. I might also go for a larger window as it should make the bedroom feel bigger and use blinds/shutters rather than curtains. Personally I'd favour a larger shower over a double vanity, our sinks only get used together when I'm cleaning them :) could you flip the shower around and have the loo under the window?

And some more options. Less boxed in functions, but also less walking around the bed by both (just one haha). Toilet tucked behind the shower (pony wall or satin/opal glass separation), so one can sit all relaxed while other brushes teeth, only requires a good extractor. ;) Either double sink, but my advise would be a wide vanity with an offcentre sink. Ceiling height closet space on both landing side as bathroom side (his and hers?), window seat with drawers under along the 'bottom window'. All ceiling height closets along the old wall in the second layout (double function is soundproofing), dresser on the landing bit.

Don't know if this would work for you, as you've tried bedroom 1 & 2 what about using bedroom 3 and the extension as the entirely new bedroom and en-suite with a stylish walk in wardrobe to get to the en-suite? The master bedroom would be narrower but with a bed at the window end and plush seating at the other either side of the walk in door it could look really nice and save a lot of messy building work in the original house. Either that or if you skip the en-suite and use say bedroom 1 just repurpose the space left for a walk in wardrobe.
