Cost effective solution for a tall front door?

We need to replace our front door which is falling apart. We’ve looked at composite but the space it just a bit too tall for it to work...plus I think composite front doors all look a bit generic.
I assume we’d need to go wood which is what we have now but are there any ways to keep costs down on this? Everything I google seems upwards of £5K which is so much money.
Recess is 2260 x 1743 if that helps. Here is the current set-up.
