outdoor porch lights, the choices seem endless!

👋🏽 Hi there! We're in the process of renovating a recently purchased, run down, Edwardian home.

One thing we want to do is add some outdoor lights by the front door.

We'd love some advice on colours, styles, size and where exactly to place the light. The house is red brick.

So far I've read we should have a light one quarter the length of the door and it should be placed between 5/8ths and 7/8ths of the door.
