Need help finding cabinets to fit my alcoves
Comments (6)Hi salonka, the width I need is 69cm and height approx 100cm (that's the height of the dado) depth doesn't really matter. I have found a few, but they all seem to be a few cm too big width wise and the height will then be about 80cm ( too small)I think I am going to have them custom made. I'll have a little search online! Thanks for your reply....See Morealcove help on a long wall
Comments (58)The access door would have to be moved forward a bit and be made narrower to accommodate it. I was discussing it with the husband tonight as we could potentially cut another door from the other side (ie what wil be the 2nd bedroom) and hide that in a wardrobe as secret storage area. The opening would have to be narrow but still wide enough to walk theough but you wouldnt see it from the bedroom then. Got to get a price though as its brick on the other side and it would need a lintel. Nothing is ever straight forward. Ha ha...See MoreHelp please! Living room wall colour and alcove unit colour

Have a look on instagram, there is a total shift away from dark interiors towards more neutral warmer ones. Not that this matters, but perhaps a year of lockdown has made a difference to what people want to live with....See MoreLiving room with alcove help
