Repair botched roofing

A polyurea coating was applied to a GRP flat roof on the advice of a roofing company. The coating needs to be removed because it was unevenly applied and the roof waterproofed. How do you go about this? How do you find a reputable contractor who won’t cut corners? The firm that applied the coating says that it is expertly applied and level.
What do you recommend as a roof covering? The roof is 25m2.
